Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Reno, NV is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a fast-moving manufacturing site. This full-time role offers a starting pay of $18.00/hour DOE and a Monday–Friday schedule.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, read manuals and schematics, and support safety programs per OSHA standards. A minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety practices and preventative maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues to minimize downtime
• Assist with installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment
• Maintain and repair facility systems including electrical, lighting, HVAC, and general building maintenance
• Service company vehicles, forklifts, and other equipment while maintaining accurate records
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement and reliability
• Maintain maintenance logs, inventory levels, and vendor coordination for parts and supplies
• Support workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
• Assist with proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials
• Collaborate with team members and provide technical support as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and hands‑on Maintenance Technician to support daily operations within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining equipment performance, minimizing downtime, and ensuring a safe and efficient facility.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, proactive, and experienced troubleshooting industrial equipment and facility systems.
