Job summary

The Waterford at Carpenter's Creek, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support daily repairs and preventive maintenance in a senior living setting.

Responsibilities include responding to resident requests, performing HVAC/plumbing/electrical tasks, and maintaining common areas. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and quality service for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial/maintenance work preferred; familiarity with minor repair techniques for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and HVAC systems helpful.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance on a daily basis responding to resident requests through the established work order program repairing plumbing, electrical and appliance issues.
• Performs daily light bulb walk around/inspection ensuring that all public area light bulbs are operable and working.
• Performs general maintenance on a daily basis for the building to include HVAC, plumbing, electrical and kitchen equipment issues.
• Maintains organization of all storage and equipment areas.
• Performs daily and as assigned painting projects for all common and office areas.
