Job summary
The Waterford at Round Rock, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in Round Rock, TX. You will perform daily maintenance, respond to resident requests, and help keep common areas safe and well maintained.
You will inspect lighting, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, assist with painting and storage organization, and support the building team with preventive maintenance. This role offers competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, paid training, and opportunities
Qualifications
- Experience in janitorial/maintenance
- Familiarity with minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, safety and HVAC systems
- Understanding of building safety and hazard reduction is helpful
Responsibilities
- Performs general maintenance on a daily basis responding to resident requests through the work order program.
- Performs daily light bulb walk around/inspection ensuring all public area light bulbs are operable and working.
- Performs general maintenance on daily building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and kitchen equipment issues.
- Maintains organization of all storage and equipment areas.
- Performs daily and as assigned painting projects for all common and office areas
