Delaware Water Gap, PA, United States — Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission seeks an entry-level Maintenance Worker III to perform a range of building and grounds tasks, operate trucks and small power tools, assist in snow/ice control, and support bridge and roadway maintenance under supervision.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 0–3 months related experience, and the ability to read, write, and follow instructions.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information clearly.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve problems.

Responsabilidades

• Operates trucks and other heavy equipment.
• Performs general manual service and assistance around a Commission facility.
• Carries out general landscaping tasks.
• Operates small power tools, mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, air compressors and other small equipment.
• Assists in painting various Commission facilities and equipment.
• Uses bituminous materials and aggregates for bridge and roadway patching and maintenance.
• Acts as flagman when required.
• Assists in snow and ice control operations at any time of day or night.
