Job summary

Badger Meter is seeking a Maintenance III on 2nd shift to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on plant machinery, buildings, and grounds. The role involves mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, welding, and fabrication, with safety as a priority.

You will work under general supervision, coordinating daily activities with management and reporting anomalies. A post-high school technical background and apprenticeship experience are preferred for this hands-on maintenance position.

Qualifications

• 576 hours of formal post-high school instruction in a related field and certificate program required.
• 5+ years in a similar role preferred; 8000 hours of related work experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics (hydraulic and electrical).
• Ability to flame cut and weld; fabricate components using metals.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, guide and train other maintenance personnel.
• Inspect, replace, install, and move plant machinery and equipment as required.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions and repair as needed.
• Perform basic and advanced repairs on pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
