Are you mechanically inclined? Know how to repair and maintain building, industrial, and manufacturing equipment? We're looking for a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician III at our DeKalb, IL manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Technician III is responsible for maintaining the functionality of all manufacturing equipment, support equipment, machines, and tools, performing repairs, and preventive maintenance. Additional responsibilities include maintenance and upkeep of the building structure and its equipment.

Specific Duties

1. Maintain logs of repairs, inspections, and results using MaintainX.
2. Conduct plant preventive maintenance programs.
3. Service and repair machines, equipment, tools, and building systems efficiently.
4. Inspect all equipment and facilities for proper operation and condition.
5. Participate in installation and upgrading projects.
6. Keep work areas clean and equipment in good condition.
7. Follow safety policies and procedures, report safety or quality issues to supervisors.
8. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of paperwork.

Qualifications

1. 1-3 years of maintenance experience.
2. Ability to read and write English.
3. Knowledge of shop math, reading charts, and using tools and gauges.
4. Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and machine maintenance.
5. Knowledge of pumps, motors, and automated equipment.
6. Physical ability to perform tasks including standing, lifting (25-60 lbs), and working in outdoor/semi-indoor conditions.
7. Willing to work overtime and various shifts.
