Oshkosh Delivery, an Oshkosh company, is hiring a Maintenance Technician III in Spartanburg, SC. You will perform multi-craft maintenance, fabrication, and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to keep equipment and facilities in good repair.

You will use blueprints, technical manuals, and test equipment; train new employees as needed and maintain a clean, safe work environment according to 5S standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or similar setting.
• Preferred: technical Associate degree and strong PLC/hydraulics knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Perform multi-craft maintenance, fabrication, and construction as directed.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, hydraulics/pneumatics, robotics, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Fabricate components using machine tools and inspect parts to spec.

This role will move and install machines, rebuild and repair power tools, machine tools, assembly equipment, lift trucks, etc. Work can include construction, troubleshooting and repair of structural, fabricated, mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic nature. The Multi Craft Maintenance Tech will also assist in training new employees and must maintain a clean and safe working environment.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills in PLCs, hydraulics/pneumatics, robotics, electro-mechanical systems, motion/motor control, three-phase power, AC variable frequency drives.* Ability to fabricate and machine complex components to repair fixtures, jigs, and parts for project, maintenance tasks, and equipment repair/modifications.* Perform all job functions to meet maintenance best practice standards.* Performs advanced preventive maintenance functions.* Ability to consistently problem solve and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.* Utilize blueprints, sketches, and technical manuals as needed.* Assist in training new employees as needed.* Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment.* Safely operate powered industrial trucks, cranes, and other industrial access equipment.* Lift light and/or heavy parts on and off a cart, floor, shelf, etc.* Keep work area clean and orderly according to 5S standard.* Maintain CMMS records as required.* Perform related duties as directed.**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*** High School Diploma or equivalent.* 5 years of experience.**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:*** Associate Degree in a technical manufacturing field (Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, General Engineering, etc.).* Technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills in PLCs, hydraulics/pneumatics, robotics, electro-mechanical systems, motion/motor control, three-phase power, AC variable frequency drives.* Ability to fabricate and machine components to repair fixtures, jigs, and parts for project, maintenance tasks, and equipment repair/modifications.* Basic computer skills, especially knowledge of MS-Office package.* Ability to work any shift including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.* Ability to problem solve and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.* Experience in manufacturing maintenance.Oshkosh is committed to working with and offering reasonable accommodations to job applicants with disabilities.
