Job summary

Cat-i Glass is seeking an advanced technician to independently troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, keeping operations safe and efficient. You will read blueprints, fabricate parts, weld as needed, and identify root causes of failures to minimize downtime.

Required skills include mechanical troubleshooting, industrial electrical systems knowledge, and ability to read technical drawings. CMMS experience is preferred for work-order management.

Qualifications

  • Must have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Ability to perform welding or fabrication tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment failures.
  • Repair and replace motors, contactors, and machine components to minimize downtime.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
  • Fabricate parts and perform welding repairs as needed.
  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and coordinate repairs to maximize uptime.
