Job summary

CAT I MANUFACTURING INC seeks an entry-level maintenance technician to assist with basic maintenance tasks while learning mechanical systems. This on-site role involves following written and verbal instructions, performing inspections, and supporting senior technicians.

You will operate hand tools and measuring devices, document activities in the CMMS, and adhere to PPE, LOTO, and OSHA standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Completion of technical school or mechanical training.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and read measurements.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and inspections.
• Document maintenance activities, parts used, and downtime.
• Use CMMS to read, update, and close work orders.
• Follow OSHA and LOTO safety procedures.
