Job summary

Corvias Corporate Services, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Tech III to support multi-family property management assets. You will perform maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and other trades with a focus on safety, quality, and resident satisfaction.

The role requires at least five years of relevant experience, EPA certifications, and the ability to mentor junior technicians while maintaining property standards and timely turnover.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in multi-family or housing maintenance, construction, or trades.
  • Type I and II EPA certification; Type II or Type III/Universal if installations have chillers.
  • Certification in four or more trades including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, masonry, building construction.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations at an advanced level.
  • Basic computer proficiency for work orders, timesheets, and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality customer service to residents by responding to maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
  • Complete make-ready/turnover work and troubleshoot according to timelines.
  • Perform tasks safely and in compliance with safety standards; identify hazards.
  • Train junior maintenance techs in hands-on settings and safety procedures.
  • Contribute to documentation such as work orders and timesheets.

How You’ll Contribute to the Team

The Maintenance Tech III is part of a team responsible for the day‑to‑day maintenance and repair of physical assets in the property management portfolio. This role performs maintenance related tasks with subject matter expert proficiency in four or more trades to include EPA, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, construction, appliances, masonry, and building construction work, to maintain properties and all common areas in accordance with company standards for overall functionality, cleanliness, and safety. The ability to produce quality work in a timely and efficient manner, including the ability to mentor others, while providing residents an exceptional customer experience and quality living environment, is at the forefront of this role.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide high quality customer service to all residents by responding to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner, maintaining a clean workspace in the residents’ home.
  • Responsible for timely completion of all phases of make ready/turnover work, and troubleshooting, according to the turn timeline.
  • Complete all work tasks in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company safety standards relaying information that might constitute physical or liability hazard.
  • Use and follow safety guidelines for tools and equipment and demonstrate on a regular basis operational knowledge of these products.
  • Effectively train Entry and General level Maintenance Techs in a hands‑on setting, instilling the importance of customer service and adherence to safety procedures.
  • Properly complete all documentation such as work orders and timesheets in accordance with policy guidelines.
  • Responsible for being attentive to detail to ensure that all preventative maintenance tasks and on‑going maintenance and repairs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked.
  • Maintain community appearance with regular playground cleanup, trash pick-up and other related responsibilities as required.
  • May be called upon to perform grounds and housekeeping responsibilities.
  • Participate in resident events as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Role Specific Requirements Include:

  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in multi‑family or housing maintenance, construction, or trades.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Type I and II minimum EPA certification with Type II or Type III / Universal EPA Certification if installation/buildings have chillers.
  • Certification or comparable experience in four or more trades including: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, masonry, building construction
  • Ability to demonstrate subject matter expert level knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • Working knowledge of residential maintenance operations with the ability to schedule work orders or turns.
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced level knowledge and use of tools and equipment for the specific trades.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Proven history of taking initiative to be productive and efficient while also working well in a team‑oriented environment focused on collaboration and accountability.
  • Ability to effectively train Level I and Level II maintenance techs in a hands‑on setting.
  • Ability to successfully complete assigned online Corvias Classroom courses.
  • Customer‑focused with the ability to interact with residents in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Must be available for mandatory after‑hours emergency repairs and/or on call scheduled work rotations.
  • Ability to work irregular hours; workdays may include Saturday or Sunday.
  • Ability to read English and interpret documents and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Required to provide and maintain own basic hand and power tools related to work requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Use of personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement required.
