Post Holdings, Inc. in Rigby, Idaho is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician responsible for performing a variety of advanced mechanical maintenance services. The technician will address complex mechanical equipment issues, install, replace, and troubleshoot systems while adhering to established safety procedures.
The ideal candidate must possess basic electrical and mechanical knowledge, a High School diploma or G.E.D, and have at least three years of industrial equipment experience. The role demands the capacity to work in various environmental conditions and possibly overtime when necessary.
This position is responsible for performing a variety of advanced mechanical maintenance service to support the plant facility. Takes a proactive approach to prevent repairs, and will install, replace and troubleshoot complex mechanical equipment and distribution systems with minimum supervision. Uses hand tools and testing instruments. Dismantles machinery and replaces defective electrical or mechanical parts. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Inspects completed work for conformance with requirements of local building and safety codes.
