Job summary

American Products in Strafford, MO is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician II to maintain and repair production equipment and facility systems, ensuring uptime, safety and efficiency across the manufacturing environment.

This role features a four-day work week (Mon-Thu) on the 2nd shift; pay is $26–$28 per hour plus 20% shift differential. The candidate should have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics, and CMMS experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience with CMMS systems.
• Industrial Maintenance certification (or currently enrolled) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PMs) independently.
• Diagnose equipment issues including motors, switches, breakers, and power systems.
• Work with 480V, 230V (3-phase), and single-phase electrical systems.
• Disassemble and repair machinery to correct malfunctions.
• Fabricate or repair parts using shop equipment (lathe, drill press, grinder, welding).
• Inspect components for wear, misalignment, or failure.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support facility maintenance needs as required.

Position Overview

American Products is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician II to support plant operations by maintaining and repairing production equipment and facility systems. This role is key to ensuring uptime, safety, and efficiency across our manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PMs) independently
• Diagnose equipment issues including motors, switches, breakers, and power systems
