Job summary

American Products is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician II for the 2nd shift in Strafford, MO. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing production equipment to maximize uptime, safety, and efficiency in our manufacturing environment.

The technician will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, perform PMs, and collaborate with the team to support facility maintenance. The position offers a 4-day work week (Mon–Thu) and a shift differential of $2/hr.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience working with CMMS systems.
• Industrial Maintenance certification (or currently enrolled) preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PMs) independently.
• Diagnose equipment issues including motors, switches, breakers, and power systems.
• Work with 480V, 230V (3-phase), and single-phase electrical systems.
• Disassemble and repair machinery to correct malfunctions.
• Fabricate or repair parts using shop equipment (lathe, drill press, grinder, welding).
• Inspect components for wear, misalignment, or failure.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support facility maintenance needs as required.

Pay: $26–$28/hour + $2/hr Shift Differential

Position Overview
