Job summary

Americase is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the Second Shift in Waxahachie, TX. You will support the Maintenance Manager with tasks spanning machinery, electrical, and facility maintenance, including lasers, presses, CNC routers, and related systems.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, light plumbing/electrical/HVAC, parts ordering, and troubleshooting equipment and building issues.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of experience in industrial environments with mechanical aptitude.
• Preferred experience with Amada America and Salvagnini.
• Must have 3–5 years of industrial electrical experience.
• Able to analyze schematics, electrical and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Proficient with high and low voltage; weld metals when required.

Responsibilities

• Taking direction from the Maintenance Manager for daily and weekly tasks.
• Ensuring shop and machine maintenance duties are performed to completion, including preventive/corrective maintenance and light plumbing/electrical/HVAC tasks.
• Troubleshooting machine/building issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Maintenance Tech II - Second Shift | Waxahachie | Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM

(Mandatory training period to be held on first shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

Summary/Scope of Role: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for assisting with and the completion of directed tasks from the Maintenance Manager. This may include but is not limited to trouble shooting automated machine tool equipment such as lasers, punches, brakes, CNC routers, water jet and other automated equipment. The facilities and utilities side of maintenance may be included, light plumbing/electrical/HVAC activities, compressed air and bulk gases, order/pick-up of parts, and other duties as assigned under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to push/pull 50 pounds repeatedly
• Must comply with and meet all pre-employment requisites, including but not limited to criminal background check prior to start date, and pre-employment and
• random drug testing in accordance with Company policy for the duration of employment.
