Job summary

Genesis Industries, Inc. in Elmwood, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform repair and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to keep operations running smoothly. You will execute scheduled PM tasks, troubleshoot issues, and replace worn parts while ensuring safety and compliance with standards.

You will work with cross-functional teams across Production, Molding, and Engineering, performing diagnostics, repairs, and equipment relocations as needed to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of using manual and power tools safely.
• Knowledge of GMP - ISO requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks according to the established schedule.
• Reduce downtime by conducting routine maintenance and training workers on proper equipment use.
• Maintain machinery and equipment to optimize performance.
• Replace defective parts and perform adjustments to equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace hydraulic components and pumps.
• Maintain equipment parts inventory and complete required documentation.
• Install new equipment or relocate existing equipment as needed.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Perform general maintenance tasks for facilities.
