Job summary

Metallus Inc. in Eaton, OH operates a large St. Clair Plant and seeks skilled maintenance technicians to install, maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. The role covers electrical work, machine tool maintenance and plant infrastructure with a focus on reliability and safety.

Multiple shifts available with overtime and on-call requirements. A strong background in CNC environments and preventive maintenance is preferred. Relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with seven years of electrical, technical, and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Preferred: Associate's degree with four years of experience in maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex machine breakdowns and root-cause problems.
• Dismantle and replace defective components; perform repairs.
• Install and repair electrical equipment including transformers and wiring.
• Set up and maintain pipe systems and hydraulics/pneumatics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document work in CMMS.
