Maintenance Technician II or III- 2nd Shift

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician performs diversified duties including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines, equipment, and plant facilities. This includes scheduled, unscheduled, or emergency repairs. Regular preventive maintenance is also required, along with maintaining supporting documentation for the PMs.

Shift Details

2nd Shift: 2:50PM to 11:00PM, Monday through Friday, plus every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance according to skill level and safety policies.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and test.
• Report unusual situations to the maintenance manager.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and work order systems (EAM).
• Work safely and follow GMPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Technician Level II: Basic electrical systems, compressor systems, air cylinders, sensors, hydraulic systems, building maintenance.

Technician Level III: Advanced electrical, electrical diagrams, mechanical blueprints, small panel building, basic PLCs, machining, welding, thermocouple operation.

Minimum Requirements

• 2-year trades degree or 4 years of plant maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• English proficiency; bilingual a plus.
• Effective communication skills.
• Attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
• Motivated, flexible, creative problem solver.
• Welding, fabrication, 3-phase electrical, motor controls troubleshooting.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Manufacturing environment with machinery, noise, temperature variations.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly.
• Work in high temperatures and possibly weekends/nights.
