EAH Housing is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Kukui Gardens, a 398-unit affordable community in Honolulu, HI. The role involves hands-on maintenance across plumbing, electrical, and general systems, with a focus on timely unit turnover and safety.

The position requires 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, basic computer skills, and knowledge of HVAC is a plus. Salary ranges per hour with DOE, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• 2+ years of related apartment maintenance experience.
• Knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Reliable transportation with a clean DMV record.
• HVAC certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• All facets of lock and key replacement/repair, including weather stripping, door and window functioning and locks.
• Interior repairs related to walls and doors.
• Electrical repairs including fixtures, lights, plugs, and switches.
• AC filter changes; coil checks, cleaning, and repairs when necessary.
• Annual unit inspections.
• Ensures turnover of units within 5 days.
