Job summary

The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safety, functionality and comfort for guests and team members. You will perform diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the property’s facilities, systems and equipment.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will respond to guest maintenance requests, document actions in daily logs, and uphold all safety policies while delivering professional, friendly service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Maintenance role required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak English fluently.
• Electrical, plumbing and basic maintenance skills.
• Grooming guidelines (Fairmont Scottsdale Princess).
• Relevant building maintenance experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance duties to ensure safety, functionality and comfort of guests and team members.
• Respond to guest room calls for maintenance.
• Maintain Daily Activity Maintenance logs.
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way.
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards.
• Follow all safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
