Volunteers of America Colorado (VOAC) is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician II to maintain and repair facilities within the Building Services Program, ensuring safety and compliance with OSHA, Federal and State rules, and EPA requirements. May supervise volunteers and contractors and oversee grounds upkeep to preserve curb appeal.

Qualifications

• At least three years of direct experience in building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on affordable housing facilities, equipment and grounds, including appliances, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, landscaping and janitorial.
• Identify and address safety-related issues that present hazards to clients, employees, facilities or the public.
• Assist in monitoring apartment make-ready schedules to ensure timely rent-ready units.
• Assist in monitoring service requests to ensure 24-hour completion.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and bi-annual basis.
• Ensure facilities are clean and safe, complying with agency standards.
