Job summary
The Shade Store in South Hill, VA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to maintain production and facility equipment. You will perform advanced preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic systems, and service sewing and cutting machinery. Strong problem-solving, safety awareness, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds are required.

Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, PLC basics, sewing equipment, pneumatic and mechanical equipment, OSHA standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, sewing machines and hydraulic systems.
- Repair and maintain machinery such as punch machines, saws, drill stations, sewing equipment, cutting and sealing machines.
- Service air compressors and HVAC systems.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement solutions.
- Ensure equipment meets quality and safety standards.
