Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties in Cape Coral, FL is seeking a Maintenance - Level II to perform a range of maintenance duties including HVAC repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair to keep our community in top condition.

You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor, attend daily briefings, and help maintain grounds and common areas. A high school diploma and 1–3 years of technical experience are required, with a valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of direct technical work experience in areas including irrigation repairs, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
• Willing to be on call for emergencies after hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community properties to meet quality maintenance standards.
• Attend morning staff meetings and communicate daily vendor appointments and required work.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, keep them free of trash and debris.
• Report maintenance concerns and perform repairs.
• Mow, weed, and edge common areas and vacant lot grounds; conduct irrigation repairs.
