Job summary

Missouri Star Quilt Company is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to keep our facilities and equipment running smoothly. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, and execute repairs on carpentry, plumbing, and drywall tasks.

The role involves building and repairing shipping stations, upgrading floors and ceilings, and maintaining safety standards while working with a team and managing inventory.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance technician experience (2–3 years).
• Knowledge of carpentry, mechanical, electrical wiring, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools, power tools and maintenance software.
• Strong communication and written skills; able to work with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and PM on mechanical, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues.
• Maintain facility upkeep and perform repairs to interior/exterior structures.
• Build or repair building components including drywall, painting, and carpentry tasks.
• Assist with remodeling, installations, and custom fixtures for ship stations and facilities.
• Maintain grounds, cleaning, minor roofing, and flooring tasks as needed.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper documentation of maintenance activities.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and provide on-call support as needed.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth operation and inventory management.
