Job summary

WL Plastics, Inc. in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for a full-time, technical role on our production facilities. We offer medical/dental/vision, 401K, paid holidays and career progression opportunities.

You will install and maintain industrial equipment, troubleshoot issues, and read P&ID drawings. The job requires experience with PLCs and AC/DC drives, and basic welding, with safety and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and maintaining industrial equipment; mechanical and electromechanical systems.
• Experience with PLCs, AC & DC drives; basic welding.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance safely and in compliance with company policies.
• Respond to plant breakdowns and unplanned outages.
• Read P&ID drawings and mechanical drawings; understand processes and instrumentation.
• Maintain and diagnose plant equipment; assist in startup after maintenance.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
