Job summary

Propak in Bridgeton, MO is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician II to oversee facility and equipment maintenance, repair, installation, and removal. This role also manages the on-site forklift driver's certification program and maintains all related logs.

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour with guaranteed progression: 50-cent increases at 90 days, 1 year, and annually thereafter for five years. Benefits, daily pay, and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial facility and equipment maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Hands-on experience with preventative maintenance for production equipment and building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
• Excellent organizational skills for maintenance logs and certifications.
• Strong communication and vendor-management abilities.
• Solid understanding of safety and environmental policies.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency with a variety of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform all preventative maintenance and repair on equipment, including forklifts and production machinery.
• Maintain and repair building infrastructure (electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
• Manage the on-site forklift driver's certification program and keep certifications current.
• Maintain logs for machinery and certifications.
• Adhere to safety and environmental policies at all times.
• Maintain an organized spare parts inventory.
• Manage vendor relationships and verify service charges.
• Collaborate with customers to ensure reporting and reimbursable expenses are captured monthly.
