Job description

A partner organization is seeking a Maintenance Technician II (Night Shift) for a role based in Sussex, WI. This position is responsible for performing general preventative and predictive maintenance on food manufacturing equipment, including setup, adjustment, and repair of various machinery to ensure ongoing safety and quality standards are met.

  • Pay: Starting at $36.00/Hr
  • Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating shift
Responsibilities
  • Respond to production floor maintenance calls from machine operators.
  • Perform assigned maintenance tasks and address machine breakdowns to support continuous production.
  • Attend and participate in shift transition meetings and daily technician meetings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, instruction manuals, and mechanical drawings.
  • Use measuring tools including calipers and multimeters.
  • Rework and rebuild mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues on 480-volt, 3-phase systems under supervision.
  • Set up and operate production equipment and machine tools (e.g., lathes, mills, welders).
  • Make or rework necessary machine parts.
  • Perform basic PLC troubleshooting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and understand mechanical systems.
  • Experience operating a forklift.
  • Proficient in using a multimeter.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • $2,000 sign-on bonus.
