OnTrac Logistics, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to inspect, maintain, and repair conveyor systems in a fast-paced distribution setting. This role emphasizes safety, problem-solving, and proactive maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.

You will work a Wednesday to Saturday shift (10:00am–8:30pm), with pay based on experience and location. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, plus 3+ years of relevant experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3 years or greater related experience and/or training in mechanical and electrical equipment.
• High voltage electrical experience is required.
• Current Driver's License and clean driving record.

Compensation

The expected starting base pay range for this position is $26.15 - $32.69 with a full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $26.15 - $39.23. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, geographic location, and other job related factors. This position may also be eligible for shift differentials, overtime pay, or other forms of additional compensation, in accordance with applicable Company policies and law.

Must‑Haves

Missions

• Ensure proper operation of conveyor systems and material handling equipment to keep operations running smoothly, responding in a timely manner to all material handling systems breakdowns.
• Maintain and provide routine preventive maintenance to conveyor systems.
• Change and repair parts of conveyor systems, as well as rebuild and align equipment, gears, shafts, pulleys, and belts.
• Use illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals in the repair, modification, and maintenance of equipment.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including work area clean‑up, conveyor and equipment clean‑up, and other general housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Conduct daily inspections of machinery for potential problems.
• From time to time, you may be called in after hours to ensure MHS (conveyor) systems are working at optimum capacity.
• Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.

Path to Success

• Possess the ability to learn and follow all safety regulations and job instructions to perform job duties.
• Utilize company tools and have the ability to purchase new tools as needed.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Material Handling Systems (MHS), industrial conveyor systems and controls in distribution, shipping, and sorting environments, VFDs, and electronic motors (480V).
• Possess knowledge of LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), PMs (Preventative Maintenance), and 3‑Phase electrical work.
• Have the ability to read and understand schematics and electrical blueprints.
• Required to have mechanical and or electrical work experience.
• Possess knowledge of OSHA requirements.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate 24‑hour operations, occasionally working extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Have the ability to lift 60 pounds on a routine basis.
