Job description

Siemens Logistics LLC is seeking an experienced mechanical / HVAC technician in support of the team located in Baltimore / Washington International Airport. This position requires experience and knowledge in the responsibilities as outlined.

Responsibilities:
  1. Performing maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of passenger boarding bridge HVAC equipment as well as the Baggage Handling Systems and their associated components and providing accurate and timely written reports of safety, operational, and maintenance activities.

  2. Must have the ability to interpret data and suggest maintenance schedule/activity adjustments to the Manager.

  3. Update daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance activity schedules.

Physical Requirements:

Physical requirements include, but are not limited to: Lifting (50 to 100 pounds), bending, reaching, climbing, walking, crawling, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, speaking, sight, and/or hearing to complete the job duties.

Required Skills / Education:
  1. Experience: 2-5 years of experience.

  2. HVAC certification

  3. Education Required: HS Diploma or GED required.

  4. Electro-Electronics / Mechanical skills required.

  5. Excellent Customer Relations skills.

  6. Adhere to all safety regulations and safe work practices.

  7. Mechanical troubleshooting skills including but not limited to belts, bearings, pulleys, drives, and gearmotors.

  8. Industrial electrical troubleshooting skills including 480V three phase motor and control circuits, electrical schematic print reading, variable frequency drives, motor starters, and input/output systems.

  9. General working knowledge of PLC systems and operations.

  10. Maintenance management software skills including generating and completing preventive and corrective maintenance, scheduling maintenance, and tracking inventory.

  11. Valid driver license with clean MVR highly desirable.

Additional Requirements:
  1. Ability to pass all background checks and security screenings per airport requirements.
