Job Overview

Siemens Logistics LLC is seeking an experienced mechanical/HVAC technician to support the team located at Baltimore/Washington International Airport. The role requires hands-on experience in maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of HVAC systems and baggage handling systems.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of passenger boarding bridge HVAC equipment, baggage handling systems, and their components, with accurate reporting of safety, operational, and maintenance activities.
  2. Interpret data and suggest maintenance schedule/activity adjustments to the Manager.
  3. Update maintenance activity schedules regularly.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting 50 to 100 pounds, bending, reaching, climbing, walking, crawling, standing, sitting, stairs, speaking, sight, and hearing.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 2-5 years.
  • HVAC certification.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Electro-mechanical skills.
  • Excellent customer relations.
  • Knowledge of belts, bearings, pulleys, drives, gearmotors, electrical systems including 480V three-phase motors, control circuits, VFDs, motor starters, I/O systems.
  • Basic PLC knowledge.
  • Experience with maintenance management software.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR (highly desirable).
  • Ability to pass background checks and security screenings.
