Join to apply for the Maintenance Technician II - 3rd Shift role at Q Center

Q Center is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our team. The Maintenance Engineer, Level 2, is responsible for maintaining the property in excellent condition, providing support for maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, and building equipment.

The position schedule is from 11:00pm to 7:30am, with a salary range of $25-33.00/hr.

Education & Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • At least four years of progressive experience preferred.
  • Trade school or college coursework helpful.
  • EPA Refrigeration Technician Certification.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
Physical Requirements
  • Flexible shifts and long hours sometimes required.
  • Heavy lifting and exertion, sometimes over 100 pounds.
  • Comfort working from heights up to 40 feet.
Fundamental Responsibilities
  • Provide courteous service to guests and colleagues.
  • Monitor departmental functions and report issues.
  • Read equipment gauges and perform basic repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems.
  • Perform routine testing and preventative maintenance on generators and other equipment.
  • Operate and troubleshoot building automation and mechanical systems.
  • Perform repairs on various building components, including locks, lighting, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest needs.
  • Assist in training and inventory management.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, with ability to access and repair various building systems.
