The primary role of the Maintenance Technician is to provide maintenance support to our plant operations to meet our quality standards and safety codes and ensure the proper execution of maintenance programs. The Technician must identify, troubleshoot, and repair problems (mechanical, electrical, etc.), run tests, isolate problems, remove/replace failed components, determine failure modes by studying worn components, and perform other tasks as required.

What You’ll Do For Us

  • Perform skilled maintenance and repair of facility or production plant systems such as mechanical, electrical, and building or production line systems. Conduct building repairs, install insulation, perform plumbing, and execute preventative maintenance.
  • Plan and perform facilities build-outs, including framing, drywall, concrete work, flooring, ceiling installation, roofing, electrical repairs, and inspections.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot building systems to meet or exceed plant goals, ensuring safety and compliance with quality standards.
  • Follow all SOPs and CCR Quality System requirements.
  • Manage contractor activities and generate purchase requisitions as needed.
  • Complete lift training and operate forklifts and high-reach equipment safely.
  • Work with maintenance personnel and vendors to complete tasks.
  • Use CMMS (Maximo) to track all work performed.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain production lines and processing equipment.

Qualification & Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; an associate or technical degree is preferred.
  • Pass the Maintenance Technician test at Tech 1 level.
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, including diagnostics and preventative maintenance.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, mechanical, electrical, lubrication, fabrication, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Own tools and prior welding experience preferred.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Valid driver’s license and experience operating industrial equipment like forklifts.
  • Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets and maintenance documentation.
  • Proficient with computer software like CMMS.
  • Certification on JPM within six months of start; required certifications include CARO and CIRO through RETA.
  • Willing to work various shifts, including overtime and extended hours.

Pay Range: $61,000 - $70,000. Compensation varies based on location, experience, and skills. Benefits include medical, financial, and other offerings.
