Job summary

American Products is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician II to support plant operations by maintaining and repairing production equipment and facility systems. This role focuses on uptime, safety, and efficiency across our manufacturing environment. The 2nd shift runs Monday through Thursday, 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM.

Pay ranges from $26 to $28 per hour, with a $2 hourly shift differential. 3+ years of maintenance experience, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and CMMS

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience with CMMS systems.
• Industrial Maintenance certification (or currently enrolled) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs) independently.
• Diagnose equipment issues including motors, switches, breakers, and power systems.
• Work with 480V, 230V (3-phase), and single-phase electrical systems.
• Disassemble and repair machinery to correct malfunctions.
• Fabricate or repair parts using shop equipment (lathe, drill press, grinder, welding).
• Inspect components for wear, misalignment, or failure.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support facility maintenance needs as required.
