Job summary

American Products in Strafford, MO is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician II to support plant operations by maintaining and repairing production equipment and facility systems.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, perform PMs, work with 480V/3-phase power, and fabricate parts as needed. This is a full-time, safety-focused role with a weekend schedule and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PMs) independently.
• Diagnose equipment issues including motors, switches, breakers, and power systems.
• Work with 480V, 230V (3-phase), and single-phase electrical systems.
• Disassemble and repair machinery to correct malfunctions.
• Fabricate or repair parts using shop equipment (lathe, drill press, grinder, welding).
• Inspect components for wear, misalignment, or failure.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support facility maintenance needs as required.

Weekend Shift: Saturday-Monday 5:30am-5:30pm

Pay: $26-$28/hour + 20% Shift Differential

Position Overview

American Products is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician II to support plant operations by maintaining and repairing production equipment and facility systems. This role is key to ensuring uptime, safety, and efficiency across our manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PMs) independently
• Diagnose equipment issues including motors, switches, breakers, and power systems
• Work with 480V, 230V (3-phase), and single-phase electrical systems
• Disassemble and repair machinery to correct malfunctions
