Job summary

American Products is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician II for the 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 3:30 PM–1:30 AM) in Strafford, MO. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing production equipment to maximize uptime, safety, and efficiency in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience working with CMMS systems.
• Industrial Maintenance certification (or currently enrolled) preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PMs) independently.
• Diagnose equipment issues including motors, switches, breakers, and power systems.
• Work with 480V, 230V (3-phase), and single-phase electrical systems.
• Disassemble and repair machinery to correct malfunctions.
• Fabricate or repair parts using shop equipment (lathe, drill press, grinder, welding).
• Inspect components for wear, misalignment, or failure.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support facility maintenance needs as required.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
