Maker’s Pride, LLC seeks a maintenance technician for 2nd shift in Grand Rapids, MI. You will diagnose and repair PLCs, service conveyors, mixers, heaters, packaging machines, and related equipment while aiding production and handling 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; pursuing a 2-year trades degree and plant maintenance experience are preferred. English proficiency is required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent; pursuing a 2-year trades degree.
• Must have English language skills; bilingual capabilities are a plus.
• Ability to communicate with Maintenance Manager and production staff.
• Welding and fabrication experience required.
• Previous plant maintenance experience is preferred.

Mansioni

• Diagnose, troubleshoot PLCs, repair and maintain equipment (Rheon’s, conveyors, packers, mixers, etc.).
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and 5S projects.
• Train employees on operation of equipment.
• Provide support to production, bakery, assembly, packaging and warehouse teams.
• Maintain a PM program with proper documentation.
• Occasionally work weekends or night hours as needed.
