Job summary

Systems, LLC, an affiliate of Chamberlain Group, is seeking a maintenance technician for our Germantown, WI facility to maintain industrial equipment and perform preventive maintenance. The role supports Lean/5S, with duties spanning plumbing, mechanical tasks, crane and forklift operation, and safety compliance.

You will learn to service welding robots, hoists, cranes, and paint booths, while logging work and maintaining certifications. Competitive hourly pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of related industrial maintenance experience or an associate degree.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
• Preferred: associate degree in Industrial Maintenance and knowledge of manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility and building maintenance including plumbing and mechanical tasks.
• Learn to perform preventive maintenance on welding robots, hoists, cranes and paint booths.
• Follow lock-out and tag-out procedures for safe work practices.
• Dismantle machinery and replace defective parts.
• Log service work and downtime accurately.
• Perform Lean and 5S functions related to maintenance.
• Operate forklifts and maintain certification.
• Comply with health and safety guidelines.
• Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and contribute to team projects.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform facility and building maintenance including: plumbing, mechanical, scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and preventive and predictive facility maintenance
• Learn to perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment such as welding robots, fabrication equipment, hoists, lift tables, cranes, paint booths, etc
• Follows lock-out and tag-out procedures as needed to ensure safe work practices
• Assists with dismantling of machinery and replace defective parts
• Logs all service work performed, recording downtime during repair and accounting for equipment service requests
• Perform Lean and 5S functions related to maintenance
• Drive a forklift and maintain necessary certification
• Operate cranes, hoists, and aerial lifts
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
• Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of related experience or an associates degree in Industrial Maintenance
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
• Preferred Qualifications: Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance. Working knowledge of manufacturing machines, cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment

The pay range for this position is $19.04 - $29.06/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
