Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a maintenance technician to perform essential repairs and support facility systems. Under supervision, you will test, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and structures, and respond to in-house work orders and emergency calls to ensure continuous operations.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent (or 5+ years' experience), 3+ years of general maintenance, and a valid Driver's License.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Driver's License required.
• 3+ years of general maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential repairs and other duties as requested.
• Assist in tests, maintenance, and repairs of machinery, equipment, systems, and physical structures under supervision.
• Respond to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergency calls and take call as facility needs dictate.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.

Job Description:

• Performs essential repairs and other duties as requested.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to perform electrical equipment maintenance, installations, and modifications per all applicable codes and regulations
• Ability to assist in contributing to system training manuals and upgrades as changes occur
• Able to communicate in English
• Must have the ability to document records neatly and accurately
• Ability to generate requisitions for materials and supplies

• High School/Equivalent grad OR 5+ years experience [Required]
