Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a seasoned maintenance technician for its Winter Garden, Florida facility. The role involves electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination of multiple trades to ensure all systems run safely and efficiently.

You will document work orders, interact with stakeholders, and support continuous improvement in maintenance processes. A valid driver’s license and 5+ years of healthcare maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Job Description:

Manages and maintains tools and equipment in good working condition. Other duties as assigned. Coordinates and performs electrical equipment maintenance, installations, and modifications per all applicable codes and regulations. Assists in the operation and general maintenance of painting, plumbing, HVAC, locksmith, and alarm systems, overseeing essential repairs and other duties as requested. Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and physical structures, under limited guidance. Monitors work performed by outside contractors to ensure requirements are met and results are documented properly. Responds to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance tasks. Responds to emergency calls in accordance with facility needs. Provides on-the-job skills training to enhance team capabilities. Supports and contributes to the development of new processes, products, or services. Maintains complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Remains current on maintenance logs and documentation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to perform electrical equipment maintenance, installations and modifications per all applicable codes and regulations [Required]

Education:
