Job Title: Maintenance Technician II

Join the Gene B. Glick Company as a Maintenance Technician II in Richmond, Indiana. This full-time role involves maintaining the physical condition of the property, ensuring resident satisfaction, and performing various maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests efficiently and courteously.
• Repair and maintain electrical circuits, switches, outlets, lighting fixtures.
• Maintain plumbing fixtures such as water heaters, lavatories, toilets, dishwashers.
• Service appliances including refrigerators, ranges, disposals, washers, and dryers.
• Service and troubleshoot HVAC systems.
• Repair carpeting and tile.
• Maintain lawns, grounds, landscaping, parking lots, including snow removal.
• Repair and maintain building exteriors and common areas.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Clean and maintain common areas.
• Prepare vacant apartments for market readiness, including cleaning and painting.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls to support residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience or training in maintenance preferred.
• EPA certification is required and must be maintained.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
• Ability to work overtime and respond to emergency calls.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding English.
