American Landmark Apartments is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for The Kendall in Indian Trail, NC. The 252-unit community offers ongoing training and advancement opportunities in a supportive team environment.

You will be responsible for daily maintenance, completing work orders within 24 hours, making ready units for leasing, and ensuring accurate service documentation. A strong focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required.
• Electrical and plumbing skills and troubleshooting ability.
• Prior experience in multi-family housing as a maintenance technician is preferred.
• Irrigation knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the property.
• Respond to work orders within 24 hours.
• Complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing.
• Complete paperwork timely, accurate and complete so service requests can be documented and tracked.
• Track inventory used and notify supervisor about re-ordering needs.

Your role as Maintenance Technician II is critical to AL’s success and may include due diligence, community acquisition/disposition, serving on or participating in company sponsored or sanctioned committees, organizations, functions etc. You are ultimately responsible for insuring the efficient maintenance operation of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.

We have a new bonus structure! All Maintenance Technician team members will receive a stipend of $100 when on‑call, on top of overtime. ALSO, maintenance team members are eligible for bonuses of up to $250 based on make ready status and work order completion.

Your “Day to Day” at AL as a Maintenance Technician:

• Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the property.

Qualifying Accomplishments of a Maintenance Technician:
