Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is hiring a Facility Technician I for our Tracy, CA distribution center. The role focuses on building maintenance, preventative tasks, and responding to immediate maintenance needs on-site.

You will monitor and repair systems, read work orders, and use a CMMS to track activity. The job requires basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills, and flexibility for 24/7 operations including holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance/construction (roofing, carpentry, plumbing, cabinetry, electrical, building construction, etc.).
• This is an onsite and in-office role.
• Flexibility with work hours; operation 24/7 including holidays.
• Ability to drive powered industrial trucks (PDT).
• Must pass WSI certification.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, painting, flooring, drywall, and carpentry work.
• Must safely operate a wide range of hand and power tools.

Responsabilités

• Monitor, maintain, and perform minor repairs and improvements.
• Read, interpret, and implement work orders.
• Use a CMMS/work-order system to track tasks.
• Communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and by email.
• Support continuous improvement within all departments.
• Perform preventive maintenance and resolve on-site issues.
• Assist other technicians with repairs and maintenance.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and operate stand-by equipment safely.
