Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation is hiring a Maintenance I for 100% on-site work at 220 Golden Gate Ave, San Francisco. You will perform general maintenance, custodial support, and respond to building needs to ensure safe, clean, and functional TNDC facilities.

Position requires basic trade skills, lifting ability up to 75 pounds, and ability to read English for directions and safety procedures. Day shift, union, non-exempt status.

Qualifications

• One year of residential maintenance or related building experience.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and climb ladders.
• General understanding and working application of plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills.
• Ability to obtain High-rise Fire Safety Certificate within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Basic plumbing repairs to water and sewage systems including replacement of fittings and clearing of stoppages.
• Repair/replacement of glass, tile, locks, hinges and window coverings.
• Basic electrical repairs to appliances, fixtures, switches and circuits.
• Basic painting of both interior and exterior surfaces.
• Sheetrock repairs.
• Submits completed work orders to direct supervisor.
• Attends required TNDC meetings and team trainings.
• Follows TNDC safety policies and procedures; on-call emergencies.
• Other duties as assigned.
