Job summary

Alkegen in Sebring, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform maintenance and repair across electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, and millwrighting at a relatively simple level. You will work from instructions and blueprints, troubleshooting equipment and performing preventive maintenance while supporting specialists as needed.

Apprenticeship training in one craft and practical multi-craft exposure.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
Experience with preventive maintenance routines and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repair across multiple crafts (electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, millwrighting).
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and systems for emergency repairs.
Follow verbal or written instructions and reference blueprints to complete tasks.
Assist specialists on more complex repairs and preventive maintenance.
