Job summary

Distribution Management is looking for a Maintenance Technician in Dallas, TX to perform preventative maintenance on material handling equipment, conveyors, and warehouse systems. You will respond to work orders, assist with troubleshooting, and support basic building repairs to keep facilities running smoothly.

The role requires at least 1 year of relevant maintenance experience, familiarity with electrical theory, and basic carpentry/plumbing skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience working in maintenance supporting Material Handling Systems and building equipment or related trade/technical school equivalency.
Basic knowledge of electrical theory including AC/DC and single/three phase power.
Basic knowledge of mechanical powertrain systems.
Basic Carpentry and Plumbing skills.
Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on MHE, conveyor systems, dock doors, and warehouse equipment.
Perform routine maintenance tasks including lubrication, adjustments, cleaning, and component replacement.
Perform predictive maintenance using ultrasound, infrared thermometer, and multimeter.
Respond to maintenance requests and work orders under supervision.
Assist with troubleshooting basic mechanical, electrical, and facility issues; escalate complex problems.
Perform basic building maintenance including painting, drywall repair, lighting, carpentry, and upkeep.
Maintain accurate work order documentation and maintenance logs.
