Job summary

Clayens in Seneca, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician Level I to repair and maintain machinery, hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical systems. This regular full-time role requires adherence to safety policies and the ability to work overtime.

Responsibilities include routine and emergency maintenance, reading drawings, troubleshooting, and documenting findings. Eligible candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, hydraulics/pneumatic/electrical proficiency, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6-12 months in a maintenance role with emphasis on manufacturing.
• Proficient in hydraulics, pneumatic controls, and electrical.
• Working knowledge of programming to assist in troubleshooting programmable controllers.
• Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• English language proficiency in verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Forklift certification.
• Crane certification.
• LOTO certifications.
• Pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic, and electrical maintenance.
• Troubleshoots and replaces components to minimize downtime.
• Reads drawings, hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical diagrams to locate problems and repair.
• Verifies machine sequence; inspects parts during disassembly.
• Maintains safety and 6S; adheres to LOTO requirements.
• Assists in mold setting and related duties.
• Documents findings and measurements from maintenance work.
