Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties in Mesa, AZ is hiring for a Maintenance - Level I role. The position involves performing maintenance duties across HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, irrigation and related areas, supporting the Maintenance Supervisor to uphold quality standards.

You will schedule tasks, attend daily staff meetings, coordinate with staff and vendors, and assist with grounds maintenance. A 50‑pound lift capability and after-hours availability are required for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of direct technical maintenance experience in irrigation, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Willing to be on call for after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks across HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and irrigation.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to meet standards.
• Schedule maintenance and attend morning meetings.
• Communicate with staff and vendors on projects.
• Maintain grounds and report issues.
• Move heavy objects and drive maintenance trucks as needed.
• Monitor inventory and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
