Job summary

Hilton Denver City Center, part of Sage Hospitality Group, seeks an Engineering/Facilities Technician to respond to service calls, perform preventive maintenance, and keep hotel equipment in safe, working order.

The role requires a high school diploma or trade training, at least six months in a similar role, and the ability to work with HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, with readiness for on‑call and weekend shifts in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent trade school.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role.
• Ability to maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing equipment and perform carpentry and renovations.
• Ability to drive a pickup truck and snow removal equipment.
• Ability to maintain logs and records; professional presentation; team oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests courteously and efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment (kitchen, laundry, boiler, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, guest rooms).
• Monitor engineering functions when full staff is not available; respond to emergencies and notify authorities.
• Conduct rounds to ensure systems are in working order.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas; complete work orders and record parts used.
• Handle elevator breakdowns and maintain preventive maintenance logs.
• Report unsafe conditions to leadership.
