Job summary

Ko-Kwel Casino Resort is seeking a Maintenance I to keep our resort’s machinery, structures, and utilities safe and reliable. You will inspect, repair, and maintain equipment, install systems, and support operations to ensure a guest-ready experience.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months related experience or training. You’ll work with a team, report safety concerns, and help maintain a welcoming, efficient property on Oregon’s southern coast.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, plus 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and friendliness in the guest experience; report safety concerns.
• Inspect and test machinery and equipment for safe, efficient operation.
• Identify and resolve equipment issues with supervision or other maintenance team members.
• Repair or replace parts on machinery to keep systems functioning as designed.
• Clean and lubricate components to extend equipment life.
• Install, program, or repair pipe systems, hydraulic and pneumatic lines, gauges, valves, and regulators.
• Maintain resort structures and equipment to high standards.
• Support automated machinery maintenance as needed.
• Operate tools (lathes, grinders, drills) to repair or fabricate parts.
• Assist team to keep operations running smoothly.
