Job summary

Gummi World in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep production and packaging equipment running safely and reliably. This role emphasizes preventative maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, and supporting new equipment installation.

The technician will document actions in NetSuite/CMMS, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with GMP, LOTO, and safety standards while minimizing downtime across all lines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree or apprenticeship in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Experience in FDA-regulated environments is valued.
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production, packaging, cooking, and facility equipment.
• Inspect equipment daily for wear, leaks, noise, temperature, or vibration and elevate issues.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, automation, PLC, and PID systems.
• Document maintenance actions, parts used, and hours in NetSuite/CMMS in real time.
• Assist with installation, alignment, and commissioning of new equipment; support IQ/OQ/PQ protocols.
