Job summary

L.B. Foster Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and operate manufacturing equipment, follow 5S standards, and perform preventive maintenance per PM schedules.

The role requires reading and interpreting work instructions, using hand and power tools, and ensuring safe operation of machinery in a fast-paced environment. Training on setup and basic machine tools is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Related degree from a technical college is a plus.
• 1 year of proven maintenance experience in manufacturing or internship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and clean working environment by following procedures and regulations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, conveyors and equipment per PM schedule.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions by observing and listening to mechanical devices in operation.
